When the temporary
becomes more important than the eternal, be aware, the consequences will be
eternal not temporary.
“While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at
the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but
the things which are not seen are eternal”
(2 Cor. 4:18).
Don’t lose your focus
(Heb. 11:13-16). Don’t take your eyes of the goal (Phil. 3:14). Don’t have
misplaced affections (Col. 3:1-2). Don’t become distracted (Lk. 9:62). Keep the
most important thing, the most important thing (2 Tim. 4:7). Don’t let the
temporary become more important than the eternal.
