"But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe" (John 20:24-25).
What was Thomas's attitude about believing Jesus had risen from the grave? It was "show me." When he was showed, he believed (John 20:26-28). That's a good attitude to have, "show me." This was the attitude of the Bereans in Acts 17:11. We need more people to have it today. The problem today is when you show someone the truth from the Bible, they usually say, "I see that but..."
