That's your interpretation

"That's your interpretation." And the question we need to ask is, "Is your interpretation right?" How do we know if we have a wrong interpretation or understanding of the Bible? If our interpretation of a passage contradicts other passages then we have a wrong interpretation. If our interpretation of a passage takes the passage out of context then we have a wrong interpretation. The key to having a correct understanding of the Bible is 2 Timothy 2:15, "Study (Give diligence) to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (handling aright) the word of truth." If  we aren't rightly dividing or handling aright the word of the truth then our interpretation will be wrong.
