The Bible says of some, "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth" (2 Tim. 3:7). Today there are still people like that. There are people who study the Bible but never come to the knowledge of the truth. Why? Because they aren't studying to show themselves approved unto God (2 Tim. 2:15). They don't rightly divide the word of God (2 Tim. 2:15). They don't study like the Bereaians (Acts 17:11). They are not examining themselves to see if they are in the faith (2 Cor. 13:5). They don't test what they believe to see if it's the truth or not. They don't put teachers to the test (1 John 4:1). They aren't studying to make the necessary changes in their lives to be right with God (James 1:22-25). But if you ask them, "Do you study the Bible?" They will say, "Yes, I study the Bible every day."
